The New Mexico Book Coop has announced that *Day of Clean Brightness” is a finalist in the category of poetry! The winner will be announced in November 2018. Judging criteria includes the cover/appearance, text/interior, and content, so kudos go to book designer Lesley Cox, artist Seamus Berkeley, and editor Andrea Watson as well!

24PearlStreet: FAWC Online Writing Workshops
Earlier this year I had a great experience with 24PearlStreet. It was my first time taking an online workshop. Rebecca Seiferle taught an 8-week course on the poetic sequence that was informative and inspiring. With only one other student, it was intimate, and the exchanges between the three of us were meaningful and extremely useful. 24PearlStreet published an excerpt from the sequence poem I wrote for the course. The poem is still a work in progress.
