Next Thursday, July 28, 2016 @ 4 pm, Daniel Okulitch (lead in the Santa Fe Opera’s current production of Don Giovanni) will perform Glen Roven’s “Santa Fe Songs” at the Scottish Rite Temple in Santa Fe, NM.

“Santa Fe Songs” is a cycle of art songs that use poems by regional poets for its lyrics. Included is my poem “Signs and Portents.” After Emmy Award winner Glen Roven composed the cycle, soprano Talise Trevigne recorded it on her album “At the Statue of Venus.”

Glen Roven returns to Santa Fe to perform on piano with Daniel Okulitch singing. Keri Alkema (Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni) will also perform.
